Musicians who play in a band with such a name must think that they were born too late, and their music confirms that – they would feel at home at the breakthrough of the 60s and the 70s, right alongside Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple or Black Sabbath. Yet, their fans don’t complain that this Icelandic project was formed in the second decade of the 21st century, as with the help of their music, The Vintage Caravan summon the ghosts of long-gone epochs. Psychedelic hard rock played by this band burns bright on such records as “Arrival” or “Gateways”, but their live acts set the world ablaze.
