These Danes have only been performing for a couple of years and they’ve already put out two albums: Danse Macabre and Venenum. With their old-school death metal sound, Baest come across as the founding fathers of the Scandinavian scene: their machine-gun drum sections, their massive and precise thrash guitars, and a growl that topples buildings and breaks bones. This is gonna hurt.
