Pure gold. Post-metal / post-rock has been played by many, but Gold do it better – as testified by enthusiastic reviews, by growing legions of fans, and by invitations to join the tours of such diverse bands as Converge or New Model Army. To the question asked in the title of their amazing album “Why Aren’t You Laughing?” from 2019 we have one answer: we’re not laughing, since, just like Gold, we see the world in all its complexity and gloom. Yet, we’re delighted that this Dutch project will bring their message to Gdańsk – and deliver it with the charismatic voice of Milena Eva.
