Vader started out in Olsztyn in the dark depths of the 1980s before launching into the national consciousness with their legendary demo Necrolust, marking a milestone in European death metal. 

 

After the release of their follow-up demo Morbid Reich, Vader signed with Earache Records, where they debuted with the LP The Ultimate Incantation and embarked on a tour that has yet to end. Many fans will argue that it was only on their sophomore effort, De Profundis, that Vader revealed the true depth of their abilities in terms of composition, performance and sound. To celebrate the LP’s 25th anniversary, Vader will be performing De Profundis in its entirety at Mystic Festival.
