The band has already revealed the news first – and we confirm it. The mighty Mastodon, American metal incarnate, will come to Gdańsk.
Last year marked the tenth anniversary of Mastodon’s cult album Crack the Skye (2009), and their concert comes on the heels of 2017’s Emperor of Sand. The LP’s opening track, “Sultan’s Curse,” may have earned the band a Grammy, but their significance is clear to metalheads with or without the award: Mastodon, after all, was one of the groups that ushered the genre into the 21st century. One of the ways in which we’ve been surviving the challenges of the year 2020 is by listening to "Medium Rarities", a collection of tracks adopted, among others, from music soundtracks. We’re waiting for the band’s next big move…
